About CodingTool.dev
Fast, free, and powerful developer tools for programmers worldwide
CodingTool.dev started from a simple frustration: jumping between dozens of different websites just to format JSON, decode Base64, or test a regex pattern. As a full-stack developer, I found myself constantly switching tabs, dealing with slow-loading tools, and worrying about privacy when pasting sensitive data into random online utilities.
In 2024, I decided to build something different—a centralized hub where all essential developer tools are fast, private, and accessible without the noise. What started as a weekend project with a handful of tools has grown into a platform serving thousands of developers worldwide, with 35+ utilities covering everything from JSON formatting to code beautification, hash generation to timezone conversion.
Every feature decision is guided by one principle: would I use this in my daily development work? That's why all tools run client-side (your data never leaves your browser), why there's no registration wall (just open and use), and why the interface is clean and distraction-free (no pop-ups, no aggressive monetization).
CodingTool.dev is maintained independently with support from the developer community. If you find these tools useful, consider sharing the site with fellow developers or supporting through our Buy Me a Coffee link. Every coffee helps keep the servers running and motivates adding new features based on your feedback.
To make essential developer utilities fast, free, and accessible to every programmer, regardless of their location, budget, or technical background.

When you're working with sensitive data—API keys, production configs, customer information— trust matters. Here's why developers choose CodingTool.dev:
Proven Privacy Architecture
100% client-side processing isn't just a feature—it's our architectural foundation. Your data physically cannot reach our servers because we don't have backend APIs for tool processing. It's not a promise; it's how the technology works.
Used by Thousands of Developers
Developers from startups to enterprises trust CodingTool.dev for daily workflows. Our tools are battle-tested across different use cases, browsers, and environments— from formatting production JSON logs to generating secure passwords for infrastructure.
Transparent & Honest
We're upfront about everything: we use Google AdSense for monetization (clearly labeled), we store preferences locally (not on servers), and we use analytics to understand which tools are popular. No hidden tracking, no data selling, no dark patterns.
Actively Maintained
Regular updates, bug fixes, and new features based on community feedback. We respond to issues within 24 hours and continuously improve tools based on real developer needs— not boardroom decisions or investor demands.
Modern Tech Stack
Built with Next.js 15, React 19, and TypeScript—the same cutting-edge technologies used by companies like Vercel, Netflix, and Airbnb. Fast performance, secure practices, and code quality are baked into every feature.
Developer's Note: I built CodingTool.dev because I needed tools I could trust with production data. No registration walls, no upload limits, no wondering "where is my data going?" Just fast, reliable utilities that work when you need them. If you have the same needs, you're in the right place. — Sofyan Setiawan, Creator
