What does the PDF Merger do?
It combines several PDF files into one document in the order you choose. Pages are copied as PDF objects instead of being turned into images, so text stays selectable and searchable and vector graphics stay sharp.
How to use it
- 1.Drop PDFs onto the upload area, browse for them, or try the sample PDFs.
- 2.Reorder files by dragging the handle or with the Move up and Move down buttons.
- 3.Optionally enter a page range per file; leave it empty to include every page.
- 4.Use Preview to check which pages of a file are included.
- 5.Select Merge PDFs, then download the merged file.
Page range syntax
Ranges use the same syntax as the other PDF tools: 1 selects one page, 1-3 a span, 1,3,5 a list, and 8- every page from 8 to the end. Pages keep the order you type, so 3,1 places page 3 before page 1. Duplicate pages in one range are included once.
Limits and privacy
Files are read and merged in your browser and are not uploaded. Each PDF may be up to 100 MB and you can add up to 50 files. Password-protected or damaged PDFs cannot be merged; remove the password first. Bookmarks, form fields that span documents, and existing digital signatures may not carry over. To turn photos into a PDF first, use Image to PDF.
