Image Cropper
Crop images to exact sizes and aspect ratios
Drop an image to crop
PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF (first frame), BMP, AVIF, or SVG up to 50 MB.
You can also paste from the clipboard.
What does the Image Cropper do?
It crops a single image in your browser with a visual crop box. The crop is calculated in the original image pixels, so a 4000 × 3000 photo is cropped at full resolution even though the preview on screen is smaller. Nothing is uploaded.
How to crop an image
- 1.Drop, browse, or paste an image (or try the sample).
- 2.Choose Free, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9 and use the swap button for portrait.
- 3.Drag the box to move it and drag any of the eight handles to resize it; the ratio stays locked.
- 4.For exact values, type X, Y, width, and height in original pixels.
- 5.Pick PNG, JPEG, or WebP and click Download cropped image.
Keyboard, zoom, and circular crops
Focus the crop box and use the arrow keys to move it by 1% of the shorter side, or Shift + arrow keys to resize it. Zoom (50–400%) only changes the preview, never the output. Circular crop clips the selection to an ellipse: use 1:1 for a perfect circle. PNG and WebP keep the outside transparent; JPEG fills it with white because it has no transparency.
Limits and browser notes
Images up to 50 MB and 100 megapixels are supported. Animated GIF and WebP files export their first frame. Camera orientation (EXIF) is applied before cropping. JPEG and WebP quality is adjustable; PNG is lossless. Exported files do not keep the original metadata.
