About this tool
This tool removes pixels by comparing their color with a selected background color. It processes the image in browser memory and preserves the original RGB values and existing transparency. It is a deterministic color-key tool, not a subject detector.
How to use
Drop, browse, or paste a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image. Start with Auto Detect, or use Pick Color and select the preview or enter a HEX/RGB value. Adjust Tolerance and Feather, compare the original and result, then download PNG or WebP.
Color-key limitations
Works best with solid studio, logo, screenshot, or chroma-key backgrounds. Hair, fur, gradients, shadows, antialiasing, existing transparency, or subject colors close to the background may need careful tuning. Animated WebP uses the frame decoded by your browser.
