What SVG to Image does
SVG to Image renders SVG markup into a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or AVIF raster image in your browser. The SVG viewport is set to the exact output size before it is drawn, so a 24 px icon exported at 1024 px stays sharp instead of being upscaled from a small bitmap.
How to use it
- 1.Paste SVG markup, drop or browse for an .svg file, or load the example.
- 2.Choose PNG, JPEG, WebP, or AVIF.
- 3.Pick a 1×–4× scale, a preset such as 512 × 512 or 1200 × 630, or type a width and height.
- 4.Choose a transparent or solid background and adjust quality for lossy formats.
- 5.Check the preview, then download the image or copy it to the clipboard.
Size, fit, and background options
The default size comes from the SVG width and height, or from its viewBox when those are missing. With the aspect ratio locked, editing one side updates the other. When the chosen size has a different aspect ratio, select Fit inside to pad, Fill to crop, or Stretch to distort. PNG, WebP, and AVIF keep transparency; JPEG cannot, so transparent areas are filled with the background color. Quality applies to JPEG, WebP, and AVIF.
Browser support and limits
AVIF and WebP options appear only when this browser can encode them. Clipboard copy uses PNG because it is the image type browsers accept most reliably; when image clipboard access is not available, download the file instead. Outputs are limited to 16,384 px per side and 100 megapixels, and very large images may fail on mobile browsers with less memory. Scripts, event handlers, and external references are removed before rendering, so external images or web fonts referenced by the SVG are not loaded.
