Website Font Inspector

Find the fonts a website declares, loads and renders

Input

URL scan sends this URL to CodingTool servers, which fetch the public page and up to 15 of its stylesheets without cookies or login. Font files are never downloaded, and only the findings come back.

The server sees what an anonymous visitor receives. Fonts injected by JavaScript, login walls or bot protection can change the result; use Live page to see what your browser actually loaded.

What does Website Font Inspector show?

It lists the font families a website uses, the @font-face rules behind them (weight, style, font-display, unicode-range and file URLs with format), the providers serving them such as Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts or self-hosted files, the selectors that use each font stack, fallback fonts and variable font axes. Every finding is labelled Declared, Loaded or Computed so you know how it was observed.

Which mode should I use?

URL scan fetches the public page and up to 15 linked or imported stylesheets on CodingTool servers and reports declared fonts. Paste HTML/CSS does the same for source you paste, entirely in your browser. Live page gives you a small console snippet or bookmarklet to run on the page itself: it reads the fonts your browser actually loaded and the computed font of visible text, then copies a report you paste back here.

Why can a scan miss fonts?

Stylesheets can be blocked, time out or exceed the scan limits, and fonts can be injected later by JavaScript (for example Adobe Fonts kits). Those cases are reported as notes and per-stylesheet statuses, so an incomplete scan is never shown as "no fonts". Declared fonts are also not proof of rendering: a stack falls back when a font is missing, which only Live page can confirm.

Privacy and limits

URL scan sends only the URL; the server blocks private and internal addresses, re-checks every redirect, sends no cookies, caps every response, never downloads font files and returns findings only. Paste and Live page modes never leave your browser. The tool does not identify fonts from images and makes no licensing claims.
