About the NATO alphabet
The NATO phonetic alphabet helps communicate letters clearly over calls and radio. This tool maps A–Z to the canonical words, including Alfa, Juliett and X-ray. Lowercase letters work too. Digits, punctuation and other scripts remain literal; this is a spelling aid, not a translation or pronunciation tool. Input is limited to 10,000 UTF-16 units.
How to use
Enter text or load the example, choose a separator, then copy the live output or download nato-alphabet.txt. Clear resets the input and separator. Repeated whitespace becomes one separation; word boundaries and original line breaks are not retained.
