What is Local Port Scanner?

Local Port Scanner automatically checks common development ports and shows localhost web servers that your browser can reach. Port labels describe common uses and do not claim which framework or process is running.

How to use

Open the page and let the first scan finish. Filter active results by port, URL, category, or common use; enter an exact port to check it directly. Open a detected server in a new tab, or copy the provided npx kill-port command to stop it from your terminal.

Browser limits and privacy

A browser can test localhost web endpoints but cannot enumerate operating-system listeners, process names, PIDs, command lines, directories, or arbitrary TCP/UDP services. Scans run locally in your browser and no process data is collected.
